2017 FTA Transport Manager conferences to spotlight key industry issues

Bookings are now open for the Freight Transport Association’s Transport Manager conference series, which will once again highlight key issues for those working in the industry.

James Firth, FTA’s head of licensing policy and compliance information
James Firth of the FTA said the Transport Manager conferences provide an essential tool for operators.

A total of 10 conferences, sponsored by Iveco, will run from September and will be held in a number of new venues following last year’s record-breaking attendance.

Issues under the microscope will include Brexit and the latest updates and legislation changes as well as sessions on city centre lorry restrictions, terrorism and HGV security, apprenticeships and skills and vehicle camera technology.

James Firth, FTA’s head of licensing policy and compliance information, said: “These events are an essential tool to help transport managers stay up-to-date with ever-changing legislation and best practice across the industry. The fact that numbers have grown year-on-year illustrates the regard in which they are held by operators.”

For a full list of dates and venues or to book a place see ftatransportmanager.co.uk or call the FTA Member Service Centre on 03717 11 22 22.
