Advance Security to reduce fleet costs under new funding solution

Part of the Cordant Group, Advance Security tasked Pendragon Contracts with providing a more integrated and consistent service for its retail and corporate divisions.

The creative funding programme is part of a total package developed by Pendragon Contracts, which will enable Advance Security to finance its fleet of around 200 Ford and Vauxhall vehicles more effectively and reduce its overall maintenance costs by capitalising on fixed pricing.

The introduction of a total fleet management programme also gives the company access to DAVE, Pendragon Contracts’ Driver And Vehicle Extranet, which provides employees with a bespoke online driver selection and information portal. This communicates full details of all of Pendragon Contracts’ services, including accident management, fuel cards and daily rental, making it a reliable user-friendly platform for drivers.

The fleet management initiative is being driven by the group’s fleet manager, Tony D’Amelio, who said: ‘We’ve established a very good working partnership with Pendragon Contracts.  Its innovative solutions and day-to-day management of our vehicle fleet will enable us to focus on reducing our costs and providing a more consistent experience to all our drivers.’

John Given, sales & marketing director of Pendragon Contracts, added: ‘By consulting with the group and understanding its objectives fully we have been able to create a total fleet management strategy that minimises the administration and maintenance work for the fleet manager, cuts costs and delivers a more efficient service for its drivers.’
