Ambulance trusts to deploy 70 patient transport vehicles from O&H

The order was placed from a leading private ambulance company after being awarded the Trusts’ non-emergency patient transport networks following a competitive tender.

O&H has supplied a mix of high dependency, bariatric, stretcher and seated patient transport vehicles. All were built to customer requirements and delivered on time.

“With a new fleet on a new contract it is important to know that you are getting the vehicles you need, in the right place at the right time” said the private ambulance company’s operations director. “Some of the schedules we have given O&H have been tight but they have responded well, been highly flexible and delivered every vehicle on the day it was due.

“O&H’s vehicles are a good conversion – they listened to our requirements, and the design and fabrication are both excellent – but their back-up has been just as important. Their engineers were fully involved in after sales, and they even accommodated other suppliers in their production schedules,” he added.
