Chevin highlights software enhancements at Silverstone Fleet Show 2016

The Show will take place on 11 May 2016 at Silverstone Circuit, Northamptonshire. During the event, Chevin will be available to demonstrate software such as its new ‘Dispatch Fitter’ tool, which is designed to help fleets allocate jobs remotely to field-based personnel.

Other products demonstrated by the company will include its updated driver licence checking software which facilitates DVLA checks within the space of an hour or less.

However, much of Chevin’s activity at the stand will focus on its FleetWave enterprise fleet management software, which is used in more than 120 countries worldwide to manage more than 850,000 vehicles.

FleetWave is designed to cover nearly every aspect of fleet, asset and maintenance management.

Recently, Chevin introduced a number of new features to make it easier for customers to use their FleetWave system, and to achieve deeper levels of data reporting. These updates include an ‘at-a-glance’ labelling system inside the record tables for even faster analysis of key data, as well as a tool to allow the direct emailing of FleetWave charts.

“Customer feedback and market developments are both important when it comes to identifying items to make the system even more useful for customers,” commented Chevin managing director Ashley Sowerby.

“FleetWave’s latest updates will facilitate easier use of the system and provide further advantages when it comes to interpreting data from anywhere in the system.”

Visitors to Chevin’s stand at the Fleet Show will also be able to pick up copies of its newly launched ‘Fleet Essentials’ guides; informative white papers aimed at helping asset managers to improve efficiency, reduce administrative burdens and control costs.

“The Fleet Show provides a fantastic opportunity to meet with a range of professionals and discuss new developments both at Chevin and across the wider fleet industry,” added Ashley Sowerby.

“We are extremely pleased to be able to attend this event and are looking forward to discussing how our software can help current and future users of FleetWave to achieve increased control over vehicle, asset and maintenance management.”
