CoolKit expands manufacturing facilities

Fridge van conversion company CoolKit has secured new manufacturing facilities, enabling it to expand its work.

The new premises will enable CoolKit to expand its work in refrigerated van conversions.

The new 25,000 square foot industrial premises are close to the existing 45,000 square foot manufacturing facilities in Burnley and will  provide extra production capacity and van storage along with increased displays of converted van stock.

The UK-based manufacturing operation can currently host up to 30 fridge van conversions at any one time.

The expansion follows business growth in recent years which saw the manufacturing company’s revenues grew by 46% in 2016, reaching the £10m mark for the first time since CoolKit was established in 2005.
