Fraikin and Enterprise work together in specialist vehicle fleet partnership

Enterprise has more than 40 years’ experience maintaining and improving the UK’s utility infrastructure on behalf of utility companies, and uses a range of specialist vehicles for specific tasks across the country.

Under its partnership with Enterprise in Ealing, London, Fraikin is supplying a number of vehicles, the bulk of which – 30 Iveco single cab cage bodied tippers – are being used by Enterprise on a contract it has with Ealing Borough Council to provide street cleansing services.

The remaining vehicles – 25 tippers (which comprise tool lockers) and two vans – are being used by Enterprise Managed Services on a grounds maintenance contract which it has with the same local authority.

The vehicles are primarily based at the Enterprise Ealing site at Greenford Depot in Greenford, London, where Enterprise has taken over workshops and is now supplying maintenance to Fraikin as an authorised repair agent.

In return Enterprise has become an authorised repair agent from Fraikin at the depot where the vehicles are based.Tony Ware, major accounts manager at Fraikin, said: ‘Enterprise is both a customer and a supplier to Fraikin, which is working well for both parties, forging strong local relationships and working practices and effectively dealing with the on-going maintenance of this highly visible fleet.’
