The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has extended its contract with the AA fleet and SME division for a further five years.
The renewed deal – which builds on a 26-year partnership between the two organisations – will see the AA provide breakdown and recovery services to its 2,000 FTA Recovery members for their 86,000 mixed vehicle fleets.
Pippa Shepherd, FTA director of membership, said: “Our partnership with the AA is an important reinforcement of our commitment to ensuring members’ vehicles are back on the road swiftly when problems occur. FTA members can access these services without an annual subscription fee, and benefit from a reduced call-out rate and easy sign-up procedure.”
