ProVision’s CameraMatics vehicle camera and tracking platform has received a number of updates to help with tracking fleet risk compliance and management.

ProVision presents new enhancements to its CameraMatics platform at the 2018 CV Show

Developed to provide full video footage combined with all the usual tracking/telematics data, CameraMatics is now available with a new browser and app-based ‘Command Centre’, as well as two other apps to help with tracking fleet risk compliance and management.

Due for debut at this April’s CV Show, ProVision’s cloud-based Command Centre means fleet managers can track vehicles in both live and historic journey modes. It enables easy retrieval of all video footage to search for speeding violations and journey alerts, and is available on PC and Mac through a standard web browser and as an app for iPhone and Android for total flexibility and access wherever fleet managers are.

ProVision has also updated CameraMatics with a vehicle walkaround app, which stores vehicle check data alongside key trip and event data, making specific details of a vehicle check carried out prior to an incident easy to recall and codify. The app will be available for iPhone and Android.

In addition, a new accident reporting app allows the driver to log all critical information, such as taking photos and video of the scene, recording third-party witness and police information, and pinpointing the specific footage recorded by the in-vehicle cameras. This stores data securely in a way that the fleet manager can then access. The app will be available for iPhone and Android.
