With vehicles including the Volkswagen e-Crafter to break into the marketplace in 2018, the feature reviews current and forthcoming electric plans by all the manfacturers and outlines technical specs. And we also report back on the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA’s) take on future powertrain options for light commercial vehicles.

Also under focus in the latest issue of VFW iD is the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, due in the spring and heralding a whole new focus on holistic connected solutions as well as an electric version.

Editor Dan Gilkes also looks at Volkswagen’s plans to increase its share of the conversion market following this year’s launch of its Converter Recognition programme.

And Dan also spotlights the Renault Trafic Spaceclass and what it bring to the high-spec people carrier sector while Ford’s updated Transit Custom gets tested along with the petrol-powered Volkswagen Transporter TSi.
