Next year’s Commercial Vehicle Show is being rescheduled to the summer to “deliver the best possible show in the safest environment”.
The show had been planned to take place in April next year as usual, after this year’s event was cancelled due to the pandemic, but will now be held on 8-10 June 2021; once again at the NEC in Birmingham.
The organisers said the move to a summer date – announced as reports continue to come in on possible new vaccines – would give more certainty to both exhibitors and visitors, offering more time to plan and prepare with confidence.
Show director Murray Ellis said: “The last year has shown the resilience and determination of everyone involved in the road transport sector. We are confident the 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show will provide the ideal platform for companies to launch and promote their products and services alongside all of the networking opportunities that the show is renowned for amongst exhibitors and visitors alike.
“We have taken the opportunity to reschedule the 2021 show to the summer, which will ensure we can deliver the best possible event for our industry.”
More than 200 companies have already confirmed their attendance at the show next year, which will use three halls in the NEC to show the latest in commercial vehicle developments as well as sector-wide suppliers.
