Shortlist for 2025 Iveco Mission Awards revealed

Iveco has announced the fleets and LCVs shortlisted for its 2025 Mission Awards.

Launched in 2021, the awards celebrate the “most mission-focused businesses and vehicles” following hotly contested quarterly categories and industry expert judging.

For their fifth year, the awards are opened up to the complete Iveco range – LCV and HGV – for the first time, bringing the most competitive lineup ever.

Split into four categories, the 2025 Mission Awards celebrate outstanding LCVs in the fields of Construction & Utilities, Grounds Maintenance & Waste Management, Alternative Fuels and Delivery & Distribution – with additional awards being presented for Bodybuilder of the year, Livery of the year and the grand prize, an overall Mission Award winner. Winners will be revealed at the Belfry Hotel and Resort.

Construction & Utility shortlist

ECL Civil Engineering – Northern Commercials

ECL Civil Engineering’s Iveco Daily (35C14) Caged Tipper was chosen for its versatile Brit-Tipp bodybuild, practical Business Pack and cost-efficient R&M contract. Judges praised ECL’s focus on reliability and selecting an adaptable vehicle that precisely supports its engineering mission.

Mammoth Site Storage and Toilet Hire – Northeast Truck & Van

Equipped with a custom bodybuild for transporting and servicing sanitation units, Mammoth Site Storage and Toilet Hire’s Iveco Daily (35C14) flatbed takes the second shortlist spot in this category. Judges praised its high payload, safety-focused 360-degree camera system and practical design that maximises capability for challenging on-site operations.

Grounds Maintenance & Waste Management shortlist

Built to transport ride-on mowers and support wider duties across the council, the conversion integrates smart storage and safety features. Judges described the package as environmentally conscious, carefully engineered and perfectly suited to daily operations.

Lewes District Council – Northern Commercials

Lewes District Council’s eDaily (42S14e) refuse collectors combine electric efficiency with comfort features including climate control, suspended seats and heated mirrors. The durable bodybuild on an electric van won over the judges, who called the vehicles a well-prepared solution for long-term, sustainable waste operations.

Alternative Fuels Shortlist

Cheshire West and Chester Council – Walton Summit

Cheshire West and Chester Council’s eDaily (70C14E) “Book Bus” takes library services to rural communities. With three modular batteries, a lightweight custom bodybuild and full accessibility features, judges praised this innovative vehicle for combining education, sustainability and inclusivity in one mobile package.

Dunelm – Guests Motor Group

Compact yet powerful, high street home goods store Dunelm’s IVECO Daily CNG (72C14GA8) thrives in urban spaces. Its biomethane fuel slashes delivery emissions by up to 95%, while a lightweight body and generous payload maximise productivity. Judges commended the vehicle as a smart, sustainable solution for high-mileage missions.

Delivery & Distribution shortlist

Brocklehurst Transport – Northern Commercials

IVECO Daily (35S14) curtainsiders, complete with reversing cameras, extended mirrors and a Dhollandia tail-lift, showcase Brocklehurst Transport’s focus on safety and productivity. Judges highlighted the operator’s careful specification choices, which combine comfort, efficiency and payload to meet the demands of a nationwide logistics mission.

Agrii – South West Truck & Van

Five new Iveco eDaily 7.2-tonne curtainsiders have joined agronomist Agrii’s fleet, combining long range and rapid charging with strong payload capacity. Judges were impressed by the balance of sustainability and practicality, calling it a standout example of electric vehicles meeting demanding requirements.
