Jameel Motors UK, the official distributor of Farizon in the UK, has officially inaugurated its flagship site in Park Royal, London.

Located on the A406 North Circular near the Hangar Lane Gyratory, Farizon Park Royal serves as both a prime Farizon dealership and the national headquarters for Farizon – the commercial vehicle division of Chinese automotive giant Geely – and its UK distributor.

The formal opening was marked by a ceremony attended by industry executives and guests, as well as senior representatives from the global head offices of Jameel Motors and Farizon Auto.

Jameel Motors UK invested £1.3m to revamp the site into a high-tech, customer-focused environment featuring latest retail, aftersales and parts facilities.

It is the first dealership in the UK for the international independent vehicle distributor and is a “statement of intent” as it embarks on a strategy of growth across Europe.

The onsite sales team will focus on supporting sole traders, businesses and fleet operators as they transition to electric vans. The team will offer tailored finance and fleet solutions, along with advice on commercial and home charging options through partnerships with ChargePoint and Hypervolt. Customers can also receive specialist guidance on bespoke cargo-carrying solutions to ensure vans are configured to their exact operational requirements.

A comprehensive demonstration fleet will give visitors an opportunity to explore and test drive the complete line-up for the Farizon SV ‘born electric’ eLCV, which includes nine different combinations of body configuration and battery option (see our test here).

Customers will also be able to access no-obligation 48-hour test drives to experience the vehicle first-hand.

Comprehensive aftersales support includes a new workshop featuring the latest diagnostic and servicing technology, with two inspection ramps installed and capacity to add two more to meet growing demand. And to ensure minimal downtime for customers, a fully stocked parts and accessories department will provide immediate access to key components.

As well as its flagship dealer, the site also serves as the new head office for Farizon Auto UK. More than 30 staff are based at the site across sales, marketing, product and network development functions, supporting the continued growth of the brand across the country.

Jameel Motors UK’s Farizon Park Royal site is the sixth franchised retail site to open across the UK, adding to Heathrow Van Centre, SMV Commercials in Street, Brian Currie Van Centre in Milton Keynes, and Rygor Auto in Reading and Oxford.
