The new variant of the all-round pickup delivers a stealthy, all-black look combined with a powerful V6 engine and heavy-duty commercial capability.

Standout styling additions include an extensive gloss black exterior treatment for the roof rails, rear styling bars, side steps, exterior mirrors, bumpers and door handles.

The dark treatment is enhanced by a unique black X-fascia at front and complemented by a new set of 20-inch matt black alloy wheels. Buyers can choose between metallic black, metallic grey or metallic blue paint at no extra cost.

Inside, the premium theme continues with all-black ArtVelours microfleece fabric seats, plus a 10-inch digital cockpit and a 12-inch central infotainment screen. It also features practical additions, including a factory-fitted load liner and sliding load cover.

Under the skin, the Dark Label remains a highly capable workhorse. Power comes from a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine outputting 240hp and 600Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

To tackle tough terrains and all-weather commercial tasks, the Amarok features always-on 4Motion all-wheel drive and a locking rear differential as standard. It also maintains a practical commercial edge with a payload capacity exceeding 1,000kg.

The Dark Label Special Edition is the newest addition to the Amarok family – joining the Style, PanAmericana and Aventura variants. It’s available to order now with prices starting from £47,870 (excl. VAT) or from £439 per month on contract hire.

All Amarok models, including the Dark Label Special Edition, also come with Volkswagen’s enhanced warranty and service plan, the 5+ Promise, at no extra cost. This comprises five services, three MOTs, a five-year warranty and five years’ roadside assistance.
