Nexus Rental has posted a standout financial year on the back of a new plant, equipment and HGV proposition and ongoing investment into expansion across new territories.

Net revenue has increased by 19%, with EBITDA following a similar trend. This was supported by 5% growth in gross revenue to £262m, through new and existing customers, and improved margins through smarter allocation in the Iris rental management platform.

The latest rise in revenues caps a run of over 10 years of consecutive growth for the business. In addition, the peak period in 2025/26 saw a 25% year-on-year increase in the number of vehicles supplied.

Momentum was aided by the rollout of the new heavy equipment and HGV offering. Built on the Iris platform and an expansive UK supply partner network, it directly addresses the hidden cost and complexity of multi-supply partner hire management.

The new offering provides complete coverage across five categories: Site and Groundworks, Material Handling, HGV and Specialist Fleets, Access Equipment, and Site Setup and Welfare. The Iris platform brings everything together in one place, offering a hire management module, bespoke account configuration, compliance management, damage claims workflows, self-service reporting, and centralised invoice processing.

In addition, Nexus has recently expanded into the Republic of Ireland (ROI) in a significant milestone that marks the company’s first move beyond the UK. The ROI service will add significant numbers to the Nexus supplier network, allowing the business to continue to scale. This brings the total number of vehicles in the overall network across the UK and ROI to nearly 600,000.

Alex Cook, chief financial officer at Nexus, said: “The performance over the last 12 months shows the importance of continued investment in our service offering, plus expansion. This, alongside our ongoing development of our Iris platform, helps us maintain strong relationships with our customers and supplier partners.

“Following the new service proposition and expansion into Ireland, we continue to focus our energy on further Iris development to ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry. I’m incredibly excited to see what the next 12 months will bring for Nexus.”
