Abax adds idling insights to driving behaviour safety tool

Abax has updated its Driving Behaviour tool with a number of new features to help fleets reduce fuel costs and CO2, including the launch of new idling insights.First launched in January 2019, the tool provides a complete overview of the employee driving styling, scoring them on five driving factors; from accelerating, braking, harsh left turn, harsh right turn and now idling.

Further updates include a new driver app that provides helpful tips along with a simpler scoring system from 0-100. Abax has also completely redesigned the admin view and also now provides an overview of driving patterns from the dashboard.

Kevin Bull, UK sales director, said: “This update to our already popular Driving Behaviour feature will help businesses to not only reduce their fuel costs, maintenance costs and increase productivity but also reduce the amount of CO2 emissions their vehicle emit. We’re really looking forward to presenting this to all new and existing customers in 2020.”
