Since 1998, Alertdriving has specialised in global, online driver risk management solutions and its pioneering solutions continue to define the standards for innovation and efficacy.

Alertdriving’s one-of-a-kind platform, FleetDefense, has helped customers reduce collisions, injuries, operating costs and liability exposure globally for 25 years.

Now, Alertdriving introduces FD inroads: an app-based gamified learning experience to keep drivers motivated to stay safe on the roads.

FD inroads is a risk mitigation solution that works with a customer’s existing in-vehicle driver monitoring technology. It introduces a set-and-forget system to manage the often-debilitating amount of driving infractions within a fleet. The app’s proprietary software then automatically assigns activities to drivers based on a driver’s real-life driving behaviour.

Within the FD inroads programme, drivers will earn points for driving infraction free and can even be incentivised by company-customised prize draws. If FD inroads’ software model identifies a driver for coaching, a short activity will be assigned to the driver based on their specific behaviour and level of risk.

Activities are organised into a linear progressive leveling system that drivers climb as they receive more infractions. The higher a driver goes, the more in-depth and challenging the activities get. To address the increasing number of infractions a driver receives, levels also progress in tone and instruction, so high-risk drivers will be addressed with more direct language and will be offered more severe situational learning with solutions that are directly applicable to the most dangerous results of their infractions.

More offerings from Alertdriving will also be on display at the Great British Fleet Event, including its unique predictive behaviour analysis tool, Hazard Perception 360. HP360 is the only training assessment in the industry to feature full-motion interactive video. It evaluates a driver’s defensive skills using actual footage of near-collision situations shot around the globe. The driver analysis technology then proactively identifies each driver’s areas of risk, which allows a targeted training regime to be created to improve each individual’s driving skills and increase fleet safety overall.

The event takes place on 8 May at Milton Keynes with a packed line-up of exhibitions, industry interfacing and insights from fleet experts in the Masterclass conference programme. Registrations for a free ticket to the show are online here.
