Alphabet moves to new UK headquarters

Over the next two weeks, all 430 plus UK-based Alphabet employees will be moving into the new home, Alphabet House, in Farnborough.

Matt Sutherland, chief operating officer at Alphabet commented: “There are some exciting and transformational changes taking place within our business. This move marks a significant milestone in Alphabet’s journey from our humble beginnings in 1997, towards becoming the leading provider of outstanding business mobility in the UK. The simple fact is that we have outgrown our previous home which served us well for the past five years.

“Alphabet House in Farnborough gives us scale and space to expand with over 100,000 square feet of floor space, as well as providing a bright, modern environment for our employees and customers. Our new home reflects both our ambitions and Alphabet’s forward-thinking, progressive approach. I’m confident that our new facility will provide a step change for Alphabet’s commercial activities and operations here in the UK, while at the same time providing a significantly enhanced visitor experience for customers and prospective customers. We look forward to welcoming guests to our new home over the coming weeks and months.”

The new address is: Alphabet House, Summit Avenue, Farnborough, Hampshire GU14 0FB.

Alphabet’s main switchboard number (0370 50 50 100) and all non-geographical 0370 numbers remain unchanged. However, geographical-based numbers will change from 01256 (Hook) to 01252 (Farnborough).
