ASB Delivery Services has reduced collisions by 90% and boosted fuel economy by 20% thanks to its strategic partnership with Ram Tracking.

The Leeds-based logistics and delivery service provider is also recording a 100% customer satisfaction rating, thanks to the transparency and reliability of each delivery. In 12 years, the firm has never missed a delivery.
ASB Delivery Services said the remarkable improvements in fleet efficiency were thanks to the implementation of Ram Tracking’s telematics solutions, transforming its fleet of 28 vans in the process.
“Since using Ram Tracking’s dash cams, we’ve seen a noticeable drop in incidents on the road,” said Alex Bailo, managing director of ASB Delivery Services. “Our drivers are more aware of their behaviour behind the wheel, and having clear footage means we can quickly resolve any issues that arise.”
One of the standout features for ASB Delivery Services has been the dashcam technology from Ram Tracking, which was acquired earlier this year by field service management software firm Klipboard. Not only have these cameras reduced collision rates by promoting driver accountability, but they’ve also provided invaluable evidence in the event of disputes, safeguarding both drivers and the business.
Beyond safety, Ram Tracking’s real-time tracking and ETA alerts have transformed ASB’s customer service. The ability to provide accurate delivery times and live updates means customers are kept informed every step of the way, boosting trust and satisfaction.
Bailo added: “For a logistics company, efficiency is everything. Thanks to Ram Tracking, we can review completed routes and identify areas for improvement. By analysing how long our drivers spend at each stop, we can also fine-tune delivery schedules, ensuring routes are optimised for both time and fuel efficiency.
“Being able to track every start and stop along a route is a game-changer. We can see exactly how long each delivery takes, helping us calculate costs more accurately and spot any inefficiencies.”
In addition, Ram Tracking’s driver behaviour analysis has played a crucial role in promoting safer and more economical driving habits. By monitoring metrics such as harsh braking, acceleration and idling time, ASB Delivery Services has not only improved compliance but also slashed fuel consumption, leading to impressive annual savings of more than £62,000.
Stuart Small, chief business development officer at Ram Tracking, said: “It’s rewarding to know that our technology is not only helping them reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction but also fostering safer driving and more efficient operations. We look forward to building on these successes and providing more value in future.”
