Adept Vehicle Management has won a five-year commercial fleet supply and management contract with North Staffordshire-based Aspire Housing.
Mark Pedley, Adept Vehicle Management CEO
Adept will replace Aspire’s current 150-strong vehicle fleet and will provide a tailored solution that includes a “closely managed”, dedicated fleet management service alongside its daily rental and vehicle procurement offerings. The first vehicles are due to join the fleet in the coming weeks.
Mark Pedley, Adept Vehicle Management CEO, said: “We are incredibly proud to be working in partnership with Aspire Housing.
“By focusing upon our best practice fleet management and cost control, Adept will ensure that Aspire Housing not only controls its fleet costs, but it will also manage their whole fleet compliance. Throughout this contract, we will also be working closely with Aspire on several projects, including grey fleet management and sustainability with the phased introduction of PHEV and EV commercial vehicles.”
The two companies are already working closely with Adept’s partner Bri-Stor Systems for bespoke racking and storage systems.
Under its supplier-agnostic approach, Adept has presented both value and premium options, enabling Aspire to select essential features within its budget while incorporating aspirational elements that reflect its core image and values. The Adept team took on the full consultancy role for vehicle sourcing and implementation, managing all Bri-Stor liaison for vehicle conversions.
Dan Gray, executive director of place at Aspire Housing, said: “Our new fleet ensures we can remain reliable, efficient, and effective with our services whilst being as cost-effective as possible, allowing us the opportunity to spend our funds where it’s needed most.
“Working with a local company such as Adept has meant that we’ve been able to invest our funds locally, supporting the employment opportunities and economic growth for local people in our communities and making positive contributions to our neighbourhoods.
“We’re excited to see the first of our new fleet hit the streets in the coming weeks.”
