AssetWorks has increased its UK commercial team by 50% in the first quarter of 2022 so far, hiring crucial roles to meet its expansion goals.

The fleet management and telematics specialist, which has operated in the UK for over 30 years, has recruited Claire Staunton to the newly created role of bid manager, which sees Staunton charged with ensuring all bids demonstrate the firm’s bespoke offering.

She brings over a decade of experience in bidding, including an excellent track record of managing tenders, business growth and administrational excellence.

Her appointment comes as the business continues to capture market share via tender processes, demonstrating the capabilities and results of its software.

Mackenzie Turton has also joined the commercial team to head marketing for the UK and expand into Europe. Turton is responsible for expanding the AssetWorks brand and its newest acquisition, Lightbulb Analytics; a specialist in telematics and tracking software used in police forces across the UK.

Supported by a dedicated marketing resource, both brands are set to grow and extend their presence.

Mackenzie joins the company following three years at Cookson Adventures, where she was most recently brand manager for the luxury travel company, responsible for all aspects of marketing and design.

Simon West-Oliver, director of sales at AssetWorks, said: “It really is fantastic to see our team growing, both Claire and Mackenzie are critical to our expansion. They will be instrumental in supporting AssetWorks and our unique fleet management solutions evolve as the fleet eco-system vendor of choice.”

AssetWorks is currently interviewing for another hire, a business development manager, with applications still open.
