Aston Barclay shuts Leeds site under new CV auction programme

Aston Barclay is closing its Leeds auction site and positioning Donington Park as its hub for commercial vehicles as part of a new sales programme.

Aston Barclay will close the Leeds site and move all commercial vehicles to Donington Park

Launching on 3 February, the enhanced programme will feature 12 weekly sales across fleet, dealer and commercial categories, providing a volume and variety of stock in the UK vehicle remarketing sector.

The schedule focuses on larger sales events, providing buyers with increased access to diverse stock and greater opportunities to secure the vehicles they need.

Auctions will run across five sites – including the Wakefield ‘super centre’ opened in 2019 along with Westbury, Prees Heath, Chelmsford and Donington Park.

The Leeds site, first opened in 2012, will now close and all commercial vehicles will move across to Donington Park.

Greg MacLeod, executive chairman, said: “We are enhancing our sales programme to deliver bigger and better sales for customers, providing them with an excellent choice of quality stock across the UK.
