The new technology draws upon the firm’s 25 years plus in developing high-end telematics software for the HGV industry globally by offering a comprehensive fleet management solution designed for easy use and giving real-time insights on drivers, vehicles and other assets.

VanLinc has been designed for easy integration with other business systems – such as HR, enterprise resource planning, transportation and warehouse – for joined-up working and improved efficiencies and can also be integrated with refrigeration systems to maintain constant temperature control during transport.

Drawing up on its HGV background, Astrata – formerly known as Qualcomm Enterprise Services Europe – can also offer its ADAMS Essential supply chain and last mile delivery software, which manages all business logistics in one comprehensive single view, giving operators full visibility and control.

Simon Hill, head LCV solutions sales and business development, said: “The VanLinc and ADAMS solutions really are revolutionary for the LCV market, on a strategic and operational level. Today’s transport management systems and supply-chain solutions can’t cope with modern enterprise needs. Our solutions are able to seamlessly integrate with any other business system to cover every aspect of a business’s day-to-day operations.”
