ATS Euromaster adds Techron technology to fleet services

Techron products (from Chevron Lubricants) are fuel system cleaners that clean vital engine and fuel system components to help keep cars and LCVs performing at optimum levels.

Techron technology has been independently tested by Emissions Analytics on behalf of Chevron Lubricants, with the independent tests (results available at www.techron.com) showing that diesel vehicles can achieve an average 7.6% improvement in fuel efficiency and a 3.4% increase in power, with on average a 6.5% reduction in CO2 emissions. The same tests showed petrol vehicles to benefit from an average 8.7% fuel efficiency improvement, with power up by 2.6%, and CO2 emissions reductions on average at 7.4%.

Peter Fairlie, group sales director at ATS Euromaster, said: “We are proud to be able to offer Techron technology to our customers. It’s a new offering from ATS Euromaster and complements our expanding service, maintenance and repair offer.”

Techron can be used in all petrol and diesel cars and light commercials. Since it is recommended that the product is used every six months or 6,000 miles (whichever comes first), many fleet vehicles will only need to use the product twice a year.

Fairlie said: “Fleet managers interested in understanding how Techron can help them run their fleet efficiently should get in touch with their ATS Euromaster contact or their local ATS Euromaster centre stocking the product, as shown on the ATS Euromaster website.”
