The company, a leading manufacturers of hardtops for pick-up trucks, has purchased a 52,000 sq. ft. facility on the Blackbrook Valley Industrial Estate in Brierley Hill in the West Midlands after it outgrew its existing nearby headquarters.
The purchase forms part of a £2.6m investment programme that will create an additional 15 new jobs.
Auto Styling Truckman’s expansion will allow the company to grow its 63-strong workforce, particularly in sales, marketing and technical design roles.
In addition, the company will be recruiting additional toolmakers that will operate in a new larger tool making facility to develop new a range of new hardtops that will be required in the next 18 months as the major manufacturers, including Toyota, Mitsubishi and Nissan bring out new pick-up truck models.
The new head office facility will also significantly increase stockholding of its hardtop range and other 4×4 accessories to manage growing number of online and commercial customer orders.
This is the second significant expansion the company has undertaken in the last 18 months after the company opened a 30,000 sq. ft. hardtop production facility to increase its manufacturing capacity.

As the market as improved we have become more proactive about securing a stronger position in the industry by targeting new sectors and developing new product ranges.”
