Auto Styling Truckman, the West Midlands-based manufacturer and supplier of 4×4 accessories, has delivered eight Truckman S- Series Side Access hardtops, sixteen Towbar Kits, Bedliners, and roof bars which have been fitted to a fleet of Toyota Hilux pick-up trucks as part of SHB’s contract with the airport.
In addition, the company has supplied roof bars, which have been fitted to the New Nissan Leaf electric vehicles, a Mitsubishi Shogun and a Peugeot 5008.
The vehicles are part of Heathrow’s Airside Operational Fleet, which are in operation twenty-four hours a day across the runways and around the perimeter fencing. As well as escorting aircraft and other airside traffic, the trucks are also part of the airport’s emergency response team and are used for runway inspection and light maintenance.
This is the latest project Auto Styling Truckman has undertaken for SHB. The vehicle hire specialist operates a diverse fleet of more than 13,500 vehicles, including cars, 4×4 vehicles ans standard and specialist LCVs and HGVs.
