The new vehicles increase Auto Windscreens’ fleet by 20% to over 300 vehicles and are in the process of being delivered by Chesterfield’s GK Group Ford dealership to the Auto Windscreens’ HQ where they are then kitted out with mobile windscreen and glass replacement equipment.
Auto Windscreens has a longstanding relationship with GK Group and uses Ford vehicles across all locations, including its three new sites in the South at Guildford, Lingfield and Rochester.
Andy Gray, Auto Windscreens’ fleet manager, said: ‘Having used Ford for many years, we find their vans cater to the complex requirements we have for durability and the fitting of our specialist automotive glazing tools. They can reliably handle the miles, are economic to run and have good performance so our technicians can give our customers the best service.’
