Auto Windscreens to showcase technicians’ skills at emergency services fleet show

The company will be showing how quickly its championship-winning technicians can expertly tend to chipped and cracked windscreens. Steve Abrahams and Mark Blaylock, awarded gold and silver at the WorldSkills UK Master Fitter final in November, will also be on hand at the event to explain about Auto Windscreens’ free glass checks offered to ensure chips are caught early to avoid glass replacements, reducing overall fleet expenditure. 

Joy Cooper, sales director at Auto Windscreens, said: ‘Blue and amber light fleet managers are under increasing pressure to keep their vehicles on the road and minimise downtimes as public spending budgets continue to tighten and fleet numbers are reduced. Auto Windscreens already works with a number of national fleets including a host of emergency services organisations, along with established companies such as Morrisons and Sixt.
