Balfour Beatty turns to online eyecare with Specsavers

The multinational infrastructure group is now offering eVouchers to more than 1,000 of its UK employees, covering sight tests, safety eyewear and DSE eyecare.

The company is also using the online management system, which enables eVouchers to be chosen, paid for and distributed electronically and also provides online redemption reports and dates for when the next eye examination is due to provide clear process reports and audit trails.

Stuart Logan, buyer at Balfour Beatty said: “We have been using Specsavers Corporate Eyecare for our eyecare provision for some time and were keen to experience the benefits of the online vouchers. We place our orders on the secure portal on the Specsavers website and make the payment there and then. This means we have instant access to the vouchers. We can purchase any number or combination of vouchers to cover the different needs of our staff at the time and there is no possibility of vouchers getting lost or delayed. We can email the eVouchers straight to each relevant individual and they can even present them at the Specsavers store on their smart phone.”
