BCA to enhance commercial vehicle services under new appointment

BCA has appointed Jon Gilbert as business development director commercial vehicles as it looks to enhance processes around the wider customer experience for commercial vehicles at BCA.

Gilbert was previously operations director for Vanarama and has also held the role of group director, customer services for telematics supplier Masternaut as well as senior management positions with ING/Alphabet and Lloyds TSB Autolease prior to its merger with Lex.

He commented: “BCA is uniquely placed to deliver a comprehensive range of linked services to the commercial vehicle sector, through the combined infrastructure of portside operations, regional de-fleet facilities, vehicle logistics and preparation centres and a suite of remarketing channels, including physical, hybrid and digital exchanges.”

“We have ambitious plans to significantly increase commercial vehicle sales volumes by leveraging BCA’s range of market-leading specialist services to deliver end-to-end solutions for volume vendors. This will include broadening the buyer base and supporting the growing demand for digital sales by enhancing the customer experience across the many touchpoints in our business.”
