BigChange achieves 10% revenue growth in H1

Mobile workforce management technology company BigChange has revealed a 10% increase in revenue for the first half of 2020, bucking the downbeat results reported by many firms during the pandemic.

BigChange, whose JobWatch platform provides organisations with a paperless way to plan, manage, schedule and track their mobile workforces, generated revenues of £8.2m in the six months to June 2020, up from £7.6m during the first half of 2019.

The company secured 166 new customers and signed a record £13m-worth of new contracts in between January and June 2020.

“BigChange has grown well across all target markets, including France and Cyprus, and achieved a world-class Net Promoter Score to rival the likes of Samsung and Starbucks. The majority of our new business now comes in through customer referrals, and that has played an essential role in ensuring that we were able to continue growing despite the challenging times we find ourselves in.”

BigChange also credited its upbeat results to an ongoing investment in innovation. Developments during the first half of 2020 brought a number of features to help mitigate the impact of Covid-19 during lockdown, including a new ‘no-touch’ signature feature for mobile workers.

The company also integrated its platform with some of the world’s most commonly used software applications, including Outlook, Word, Sage and Xero, and invested £500,000 on a new business analysis and artificial intelligence product, which will be launched later this year.
