BJF Connections awards mixed fleet deal to Pendragon Vehicle Management

The firm is planning to triple in size over the next few years and will be looking to reduce emissions over the term of the contract, with a high proportion of low emission diesel and hybrid models being introduced into the fleet.

All vehicles are being supplied on a contract hire basis, which also includes maintenance and fuel card provision.

The commercial vehicles will be used to support BJF’s mechanical, electrical, design and building services throughout the country and will be mostly used by engineers as well as a number of project managers, senior operations managers, quantity surveyors and the senior management team.

Don Urquhart, head of SHEQ at BJF Connections, said: “A reliable and efficient fleet is vital to our business, and it is important for us to reduce costs in this area. Pendragon Vehicle Management offered a great service, understanding our needs and delivering flexible solutions, whilst providing access to a wide range of vehicles. In particular, their online fleet management system works really well for us, providing a one-stop administration point which helps us to better manage the time and man power spent on this area. We look forward to working together as we introduce more environmentally friendly vehicles to the fleet.”
