Blue Cube enhances customer support for cold storage hire

A leading cold storage hire specialist has enhanced its out-of-hours support for customers through a new partnership with TNS 365.

Alan Hunt, MD of Blue Cube

Blue Cube (PCS) supplies the food industry, pharmaceutical sector and other sectors with UK-built, portable cold storage and blast chiller/freezer units, designed to be eco-friendly.

The Staffordshire-based rental company, part of Turner and Co (Glasgow), prides itself on its unrivalled 24/7 technical support to its customers, many of which operate around the clock and often across multiple sites.

Its inhouse service desk will handle incoming calls during office hours, including the ability for technical experts to ‘dial in’ to a unit’s telematics and remotely resolve any issues.  For more complex challenges, they can dispatch a member of the in-house refrigeration engineer team.

Outside of office hours, Blue Cube uses a third party to provide customer support and has now signed up out-of-hours specialist TNS 365, run by director Adam Drake. The new deal will ensure its clients experience the same high level of customer service if they call out of hours as they would during the day.

The tie-up will also provide Blue Cube with a host of live KPI information via the TNS 365 custom-built dashboard, providing key info about their out-of-hours activities and helping them make strategic decisions in the future.

Alan Hunt, managing director of Blue Cube, said: “We were very impressed with both the experience TNS 365 have and, as importantly, how approachable and personable Adam and the wider team come across.  This aligns with our own values, and I am looking forward to strengthening our relationship with them over the coming months.”
