The stand will provide visitors an opportunity to view demonstrations of the new SPOTON web software, which will be launched later this spring. This fully web based solution displays the real-time location of a fleet with driving behaviour analysis and operational reports. With new features such as trouble code reporting and battery health monitoring also included, the solutions will alert fleet managers of faults on a vehicle’s CANBus, giving the opportunity to prevent breakdowns and reduce unnecessary costs.
BOX Telematics has also launched a new fuel-saving solution, SPOTON fuel. This monitors driving behaviour and identifies where improvements can be made to help fleets reduce their fuel bills and improve safety. The SPOTON fuel Lightbar provides the driver with live driving behaviour feedback on events such as harsh cornering and excessive speeding, enabling instantaneous improvement in their driving style, reducing costs and leaving a smaller carbon footprint.
All of the fleet management solutions showcased at the CV Show are powered by BOX’s inhouse telematics devices.
Mark Watkins, managing director at BOX Telematics, commented: “We are delighted to be returning to The CV Show to showcase our web-based fleet management solutions. The new SPOTON web platform displays all the information required by a fleet manager to run an efficient fleet with the added benefit of being accessible on any web-enabled device. Visit us at stand 3E95 for a live SPOTON web demonstration.”
