Brake announces finalists for Fleet Safety Awards

The annual event, sponsored by Arval, recognises the achievements of fleet operators and suppliers who are working hard to reduce road crashes involving at-work drivers. A full shortlist has now been produced for each category and judges will deliberate over the winners, who will be announced during a glittering gala dinner on Thursday 5th June 2014, at the St John's Hotel, Solihull, Birmingham.

The awards ceremony follows the Fleet Safety Conference, sponsored by Aviva, which will provide an opportunity for delegates to hear from leading academic and practitioner speakers on key fleet safety issues, as well as best practice examples from organisations.
Conference themes include:

  • Managing grey fleet vehicles
  • Effective driver training and support
  • Road safety and CSR

Ellie Pearson, senior professional engagement officer at Brake, said: ’It is fantastic that so many companies are making a real effort to end the needless crashes on our roads as a result of at-work drivers. We have been really impressed with this year's entries and our judges are going to have a tough time choosing the winners. We wish all our finalists the best of luck and look forward to seeing them all at our conference and awards.’
