Brake is teaming up with FORS, the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme, and app developer Ambit to run an event on how fleet managers at SMEs can lower the risk of road traffic incidents for their drivers.

The cost to employers of at-work road crashes is estimated to be more than £2.7 billion a year in the UK and investing in fleet risk management makes sound financial sense for all organisations – particularly SMEs.

Taking place on Thursday 19 October in Birmingham, the roundtable event will cover three core themes: employer’s responsibilities, driver’s responsibilities and what to do should the worst happen.

Speakers will include FORS business services manager Paul Wilkes and Jeremy Hubbard, Aviva Insurance risk consultant as well as Drew Spellar, commercial head of Ambit.
