Road safety charity Brake is to provide a keynote speech on road safety for fleets at Trakm8’s forthcoming Safety and Efficiency Conference.
The charity has signed up telematics and vehicle camera specialist Trakm8 as a corporate partner, which will see the two organisations work together on a range of initiatives over the next 12 months, supporting the charity’s key objectives.
This includes Trakm8’s inaugural Safety and Efficiency Conference. Taking place on 3 October at the firm’s recently acquired second facility in Coleshill, West Midlands, the free event will address key themes and challenges facing fleets and drivers, including the implementation of Clean Air Zones, and the potential impacts of Brexit. An expert from Brake will give a presentation on the latest road safety data and give advice on actions that fleets can take to improve safety.
Colin Ferguson, managing director of fleet and optimisation for Trakm8, said: “Trakm8’s driver behaviour analytics and vehicle cameras are proven to reduce the risk of a road traffic incident occurring, by encouraging a safer driving style.
“We therefore share common goals and objectives with Brake when it comes to road safety, so we are delighted to be recognised as one of the charity’s corporate partners.”
