Brake to offer road safety guidance and training at CV Show

Brake representatives will share more than 20 years' worth of road safety expertise with fleet decision-makers, as well as training strategies and tools to support them in improving road safety within their organisation.

Visitors to the Brake stand (5A21, Hall 5) will be invited to take part in a fleet safety benchmarking survey and receive free Fleet Safety Forum resources on a range of topics. Free resources include educational posters, guidance reports for fleet managers, and tyre tread indicators.

The charity will explain its Safety Forum's flagship programme, which aims to engage and educate at-work drivers. Brake will be giving away free Pledge resources, as well as showcasing interactive Pledge tools including quizzes, online games, and powerful video clips.

As a special offer, Brake will be offering a significantly discounted rate of £100 + VAT to any visitors to the Brake stand who join its Fleet Safety Forum.

Commenting on the charity's strategy for the Show, Ellie Pearson, Brake's senior professional engagement officer, said: ‘At-work drivers are an especially high risk group on our roads; that's why Brake is so delighted to be exhibiting at this year's Commercial Vehicle Show. The show presents thousands of fleet decision-makers with the opportunity to take advantage of Brake's experience in working with fleets to improve safety.

'If you're attending the show do come and visit us on stand 5A21(Hall 5); we look forward to sharing our knowledge and expertise with you.’
