Bulb Things to bring new fleet solution & iPhone 6 prize draw to Silverstone Fleet Show

The new product has been launched to provide complete automation, visibility and cost savings. It also enable fleets to connect, monitor and track any kind of vehicle or equipment whilst allowing real-time collaboration with drivers, users and suppliers and enabling fleets to identify savings.

Bulb Things founder Yann Depond, who has previous experience of launching WinFlotte – a major fleet management software in France, developed the product after realising there was a growing need for companies to simplify their asset management with a versatile solution that could manage not only vehicles but any additional professional equipment that drivers use.

Using the latest web technologies (such as html 5) and the emerging Internet of Things technologies, Bulb Software has created the next-generation fleet and asset management solution, which will be on display at the Fleet World Fleet Show at Silverstone on 12 May.

The new product brings features such as web app collaboration for greater automation in real-time, multi-country capability, intuitive wizards and integrated workflows for fast deployment and performing daily tasks more efficiently as well as smart messaging and alerts for controlling compliancy and costs.

Bulb Things also offers an integrated fleet lifecycle and tracking solution so fleets can benefit from real-time data about your vehicles and driver behaviour through a single solution.

“We find that most companies do one or the other very well,  or eventually team up to offer a service which isn’t fully integrated. We want to bridge the gap and offer a solution that provides smart data collected from vehicles and equipment in a powerful, collaborative fleet lifecycle management solution,” said Leslie Depond, chief customer officer of Bulb Things.

“Bulb Things allows the management and best usage of vehicles, equipment and more,” added Depond. “Its html 5 architecture means it’s a web app that will facilitate collaboration between fleet managers, drivers and suppliers, which allow our customers to save time and money as well as create happier and more responsible drivers. It is a powerful tool that also creates endless possibilities for customising the user interface to our customers’ needs or integrating it to their own enterprise portal.

“Looking forward, as more things get connected in the Enterprise, our solution will allow to track and manage them all, achieving further efficiencies and cost savings,” he added.
