New BVRLA research on fleet charging needs and how best to meet them is to come under the spotlight at this month’s free-to-attend Great British Fleet Event.
Catherine Bowen, senior policy advisor at the BVRLA, is the latest speaker to be confirmed for the Masterclass Conference session, imparting extensive insights to attendees.
The event, which takes place on 29 March 2022 at Novotel London West in Hammersmith, will see Bowen take part in the Future of Fleet Masterclass and will speak on ‘Charging up the Fleet’. This includes looking at the wide array of fleet charging needs, available options and the challenges the sector is facing in order to keep zero-emission vehicles sufficiently fuelled.
The talk will also reveal some of the findings from the association’s new ‘Fleet Charging Guide’. With the roll-out of charging infrastructure increasingly being devolved to local government, the guide highlights some key fleet use cases and how they can best be supported on their zero-emission journey.
Bowen is one of a number of expert speakers at the Great British Fleet Event. This week has also seen Driving for Better Business confirmed for the Masterclass line-up. Simon Turner, campaign manager at the government-backed National Highways programme, will spotlight how the pandemic has radically changed duty of care requirements and the essential actions for fleets.
Other insight-packed Masterclass discussions at GBFE will include the topics of telematics and operational efficiency, as well as sustainability and EV best practice.
Alongside the conference programme, visitors will be able to find out more about the latest fleet developments in the exhibition area.
Meanwhile, in the afternoon, the Great British Fleet Awards will recognise those fleet service firms, fleet managers and vehicle manufacturers that are the forefront of their game, while also providing a networking dinner for 200+ guests.
