Chevin to showcase new fleet solutions at CV Show

Latest innovations, including a new data collection app that scooped the Innovation in Mobile Comms title at this year’s Fleet World Honours, are to debut on Chevin’s stand at this year’s CV Show.

Dubbed FleetWave forms, the app can be used to replace any manual or paper-based data collection form, supporting a wide variety of tasks.

At next month’s CV Show, Chevin will also showcase its automated Driver Licence Checking system, which has now been upgraded with ‘e-consent’ and support for the DVSA’s ‘Earned Recognition’ pilot.

Other new products on display include a new Workshop Floor System called the ‘Workshop Hub’, designed to deliver technician’s essential job information on a tablet or smartphone.

David Gladding, global sales & marketing director for Chevin, said: “Commercial vehicles face a lot of compliance challenges in their day-to-day operation, but there are huge opportunities for improvements and cost saving initiatives in many areas.

“While we have a number of new innovations such as our data collection app, Earned Recognition, Workshop Hub and Automated Driver licensing checking, our message to commercial operators remains that data centralisation will offer better visibility of your fleet performance associated data, while streamlining process.

“If you have one system as a single source of truth you can manage by exception, to ensure compliance, keep vehicles roadworthy and gain visibility of costs – and we look forward to demonstrating all of these functionalities in more detail to visitors at this year’s CV Show.”
