Citroën Berlingo range extended with Crew Van variants

Citroën UK has expanded the Berlingo range with the addition of three Crew Van variants.

The Berlingo Crew Vans allow the user to prioritise load carrying or passenger space,

Based on the long wheelbase ‘XL’ variant and entering production in November, the new variants combine seating for up to five occupants with a split/folding second row of seats and a through-loading moveable bulkhead, enabling users to prioritise load carrying or passenger space.

With the rear seats in use, the Berlingo Crew Vans will provide a maximum load floor length of 1,450mm and a load volume of 1.8m3 – enough to comfortably accommodate a standard Euro Pallet. With the rear seats folded, the load floor length extends to 2,000mm with a 3.5m3 load volume.

And with the rear and front passenger seats all folded, and the through-loading hatch open, up to 3,050mm of load floor length is available, whilst load volume is extended to 4.0m3. Maximum gross payload stands at 850kg.

Equipment is based on the ‘Enterprise’ specification and brings standard features including  air conditioning, rear parking sensors, cruise control, automatic electronic parking brake and electric folding door mirrors plus DAB radio with steering wheel-mounted controls, USB port and an eight-inch colour touchscreen offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The line-up of three powertrains includes Citroen’s three-cylinder 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine – 1.2L PureTech 110 S&S six-speed manual – aimed at lower-mileage drivers and priced at £20,804 (MRRP). Diesel versions use Citroën’s four-cylinder 1.5-litre diesel engine, in the form of the BlueHDi 100 S&S manual (£21,335 MRRP) or the BlueHDi 130 S&S with an EAT8 (eight-speed) automatic transmission, priced at £23,335 MRRP.

Orders are open now, with first deliveries planned for late November 2019.
