Citroën Dispatch gets new mid-range engine option and gearbox

Citroën UK has updated the Dispatch van range with a new engine and gearbox option.

The Dispatch BlueHDi 120 S&S EAT8 automatic 1400 panel and crew vans are powered by the brand’s 1,997cc BlueHDi diesel engine

Sitting between the BlueHDi S&S (panel van only) and the BlueHDI 150 S&S, the BlueHDi 120 S&S EAT8 automatic 1400 panel and crew vans are powered by the brand’s 1,997cc BlueHDi diesel engine, providing 120hp and maximum torque of 340Nm, and married up to the EAT8 eight-speed fully automatic transmission.

Also fitted with stop and start (S&S) technology as standard, the powertrain helps minimise fuel consumption and emissions, helped by the EAT8 transmission transmission, which will shift to the best gear for the driving conditions while bringing comfort benefits to drivers. For increased driver comfort, all versions equipped with the new engine and gearbox benefit from steering column mounted paddles for manual changes, should they be required.

The new BlueHDi 120 S&S EAT8 auto drivetrain will be available with the ‘Enterprise’ trim in both panel van and crew van M (Medium length) models. Dispatch Enterprise trim provides specification, including air cond, rear parking sensors, seven-inch colour touchscreen with Citroën Connect DAB radio, Bluetooth, Apple Car Play, Android Auto, automatic lights and automatic windscreen wipers.

Production of the new models begins later this month, with first deliveries anticipated from November 2019. Prices start from £26,580 (basic MRRP).
