Citroën hands over extra 70 vans for NHS Property Services

NHS Property Services, the organisation behind the management of NHS facilities, have taken delivery of a further 70 Citroën vehicles as part of a 200-strong order.

The consigment of 70 vehicles is part of a 200-strong vehicle order placed for NHS Property Services to support a new maintenance support contract

The vehicles were ordered on behalf of NHS Property Services by public sector fleet management specialists Knowles Associates to be used for a new maintenance support contract effective from 1 April.

The new fleet of 70 vans were supplied rapidly by dealer John Grose in Ipswich, in spite of reduced staffing levels, and will be used to provide critical maintenance and repair to premises during these unprecedented times.

They join an earlier batch of 29 vehicles that were handed over earlier this year.

Graham Smales, corporate sales manager at Groupe PSA UK, commented: “NHS Property Services is a valued customer of the Citroën brand and I am proud that we have been able to support the critical work being done by NHS Property Services at this time, with a rapid supply of vans.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all parties involved in getting the vehicles turned around so quickly, including the racking and sign writing providers as well as the teams at Knowles Associates, Alphabet and LeasePlan, most notably though, the team at John Grose Citroën who prepared the vehicles in record time and on reduced staffing levels.”
