City Auction Group to hold first dedicated LCV auction

City Auction Group is to start running weekly LCV auctions at its Rockingham site as it responds to growing market demand.

The inaugural City Auction Group van sale will offer more than 100 vehicles.
The inaugural City Auction Group van sale will offer more than 100 vehicles.

The inaugural event takes place Tuesday 24 April 2018 at 12 noon and will offer more than 100 vehicles, from six months to five-years-old, direct from leasing and finance companies.

The event will be held weekly thereafter following the corporate fleet sale at 10am, which will also offer increased volumes of vehicles. Previously LCVs were offered in lower volumes in the corporate fleet sale.

The move follows the recent appointment of Paul Cooke as department head of LCV, plant, machinery and asset management in the wake of recent expansion at the Rockingham site.

Cooke commented: “Currently, there is a very high demand for used LCVs in the market, so it’s great to be able to offer such an extensive variety to meet our customers’ requirements.”
