Commercial courier invests in new London operation

Crown Couriers has opened a dedicated London-based office to service customers in and around the city.

The new London space will enable a stronger network and greater coverage to surrounding customers

The new London space joins the existing central UK-based control centre in the firm’s nationwide operation, and will enable a stronger network and greater coverage to surrounding customers.

Headed up by area sales manager Tony Clements, it’s based at the grounds of London Heathrow and positions the courier service to support growing demand for services; the business says the priority to deliver same-day and urgent deliveries is significantly on the rise.

Crown Couriers is already supporting the airport by providing same-day deliveries for its baggage repatriation service.

As part of its expansion in the capital, Crown Couriers is also looking for London-based, self-employed drivers.

Managing director and founder Tim Seagers said: “We’ve made the strategic decision to continue our investment and growth, as planned. Having a London office is vital for this. With a dedicated team in the region, we can focus our resource more effectively and quickly to businesses in the area, for both new and existing clients.”
