The solution enables Cool Cube to report the live temperature and location of any load back to the customer at any time, as well as provide a comprehensive temperature report to customers within minutes of collection.
Steve Pearce, general manager at Cool Cube, commented: “Part of the solution includes PTO door sensors, allowing customers to view the exact moment of door opening and closing events on the graphical temperature report and print outs. This can explain sharp rises or drops in temperature and shows if doors are being left open too long and goods unattended. We also receive immediate text or email alerts when the temperature thresholds are close to being breached, ensuring our customer’s temperature sensitive deliveries are always looked after.”
Live location tracking also enables Cool Cube to provide accurate ETAs on deliveries, along with the ability to pre-warn customers on any delays for complete transparency.
Verilocation CEO Andrew Overton explained: “Our real-time integrated temperature monitoring and vehicle tracking solution ensures complete peace of mind for our customers, with live temperature tracking and threshold alerting. Being able to provide proof of temperature for their customers not only allows them to compete in their industry, but can also save thousands of pounds in spoilt loads.”
