CoolKit appointed to Ford Pro convertor programme

CoolKit, a leading specialist in temperature-controlled vans, has been recognised by Ford Motor Company as one of its preferred Ford Pro Convertors.

CoolKit’s founder and chief executive Rupert Gatty holds the recognition certificate alongside Ford Pro Special Vehicles’ Jonathan Mundy

CoolKit said the accreditation reflected its commitment to exceptional quality in the design and build of refrigerated conversions and body building for light commercial vehicles.

Ford Pro’s convertor network recognises the best convertors across Europe specialising in multiple and diverse conversions to suit all customer requirements.

CoolKit, based in Lancashire, gained its recognition after careful inspection by Ford of its engineering capability, design and build process controls, and quality control procedures.

The findings revealed Ford’s conversions exceeded the programme’s requirements.

Daniel Miller, CoolKit’s managing director, said: “Being designated as a Ford Pro Convertor is a great opportunity to build further on our relationship with Ford. It’s also a highly sought after seal of approval endorsing the quality of our engineering and manufacturing, which we are very proud of.

“Alignment with a world-class manufacturer such as Ford underlines the high standards we uphold at CoolKit, adding further assurance to customers in terms of what they can expect from a CoolKit product.

“Combining our resources will enable us to continue to further innovate with new temperature-controlled vehicle solutions.”
