CoolKit relocation to help expansion into new markets

The move to the new premises within a secure 2.5 acre site in Burnley forms part of a strategic plan to achieve more than £15m worth of temperature-controlled vehicle orders annually and comes on the back of the company’s average 40% year-on-year growth over the last six years.

The increase in manufacturing capacity will help the company further improve order turnaround times through improved processes and increased vehicle holding capacity, with space for 200 vehicles onsite at any one time.

CoolKit managing director Rupert Gatty said: “Recent years have been exceptional for CoolKit and this move puts us in an excellent position to achieve further growth. As well as increasing our manufacturing capabilities and improving our already impressive order turnaround times, the further capacity allows us to seek out yet further sales by expanding into new markets both in the UK and internationally.

“We can only give credit to the skills, dedication and commitment of our entire staff for our ongoing success, which we also believe is proof that East Lancashire is a great place to do business.”
