Days Contract Hire to underpin expansion plans with new software

The firm, which manages a fleet of around 10,000 company cars, commercial vehicles and trailers, is a member of the privately-owned Days Motor Group, and was looking for a new software system that would underpin its growth aspirations and deliver added value to clients.

The firm already uses Jaama’s electronic driver entitlement checking service (EDECS). With the introduction of Key2, the company has introduced a wide range of additional services including: vehicle quotations, vehicle ordering and management, driver management, accounts and client billing.

In addition Days Contract Hire has also introduced:

  • An internet-based Quotation Module which enables the company to provide its broker partners with contract hire quotations online as well as facilitating bespoke quotations to fleet managers and drivers.
  • A Client Dashboard which enables fleet managers to view live data on their fleet and be warned of upcoming events by way of a traffic light system. Order tracking, copy invoices and driver licence checks are fully visible all supported by a comprehensive suite of reports.

Group IT manager Neil Williams said: ‘Implementation of Key2 has given Days Contract Hire an industry-leading platform through which we can introduce exciting new products and services, further drive cost-saving efficiencies and compliance for our clients.’
