Deli-Lites Ireland reports cost benefits with Masternaut

Deli-Lites Ireland made the decision to partner with Masternaut to monitor its entire fleet and to create a cost-efficient and productive workforce.

By having in-depth visibility, Deli-Lites Ireland fleet managers have a greater view of vehicle performance, in terms of fuel used; route mapping and the run times that drivers complete their deliveries. Also trackable are departure times versus expected departure times and MPG’s by driver.

According to Masternaut, this instantly minimises coordination challenges and since implementation of the solution, Deli-Lites Ireland has made a 10% saving on fuel costs. Deli-Lites Ireland has also been able to accurately and remotely monitor the temperature of all vehicles, resulting in an increase in delivery performance by 14%.

Benefits have been reported across the business, with the HR division implementing a driver training plan to further improve driver performance and fuel economy.

‘We chose Masternaut above other telematics providers because its solution offered a complete, all in one package that gives us access to a plethora of information relating to our fleet,’ commented Brian Reid, CEO of Deli-Lites Ireland.

‘The online portal is a great resource for our fleet managers, giving them real-time access to van movements and the ability to maximise distribution efficiencies.’

Martin Hiscox, CEO and chairman of Masternaut, added: ‘It’s great to see our solution has given Deli-Lites Ireland a greater level of visibility of their fleet, allowing them to save money on fuel whilst also providing greater delivery performance to their customers. It’s great to see yet another example of how telematics can positively impact business results.’
